On August 1, the first two 3rd?generation light rail trains of Singapore BPLRT made by CRRC Puzhen Alstom officially started operation. Singapore’s vice prime minister and the Minister of Transportation, together with other parliament members, took the new train to go to Choa Chu Kang MRT/LRT Station from the BPLRT Depot.
In total, CRRC Puzhen Alstom will manufacture 19 Alstom Innovia APM300R light rail trains for BPLRT. The operation start of the first trains has injected unprecedented vitality and confidence into the company, which will continue to manufacture and deliver the remaining trains with high quality and according to high standards.
